Moon Minds

Heal. Connect. Grow.
Therapy for Modern Minds and Relationships.

Moon Minds

Why the Name?

When we look at the moon from our planet, it always seems different to us. At times growing to be complete, at times losing itself reaching emptiness.

But the funny thing is that the Moon is always complete, no matter how it seems to us. Its phases seem different because of its changing relationship with the sun and the earth.

This description of the moon sounds very familiar to us when we think of the human mind. Always complete in itself, yet seemingly different because of its relationships.

Moon Minds

The Idea

Strong connections with others are important to help us live a healthier and more fulfilled life. Yet somehow, most of us struggle in our closest relationships, including the relationship with self.

We are here to change that.

Challenge of the Self

Talking of our connection to ourselves, who you think you are matters! Without us realising it, our self-image turns negative as we experience unhealthy relationships. This negative self-image can lead to unhealthy thinking and make life so much harder.

Solution

By understanding how other relationships shape our self-perception, we can break free from these negative assumptions and build a healthier, happier inner world.

That is exactly what we will help you achieve through evidence-based therapy by qualified mental health professionals who are reliable, non-judgmental, and inclusive.

The Romantic Challenge

Talking of couples, India has the lowest divorce rate in the world at just 1%. But does that mean everyone is satisfied in their relationships? Maybe there’s more to the story than just divorce numbers.

To have a fulfilling romantic relationship, just love isn’t enough! Most couples in India skip over understanding their psychological compatibility before solidifying their commitments, leading to challenges down the line.

Grow Together with Couples Therapy

Through our Relationship Health Services, we help Indian couples discover their true compatibility. We use scientific and thought-provoking conversations along with therapist guidance to help couples gain insight. By identifying strengths and areas for improvement, they can build more fulfilling and stronger relationships from the start.

Plus, we also help couples work on all the potential areas of improvement through proactive ongoing couples therapy.

The Team

Hiteshree M. Dudani

Co-founder and the ideating head

Hiteshree is a therapist and a fresh entrepreneur. As a therapist, Hiteshree believes in being authentic and empathetic with her clients which allows her to create a nurturing therapeutic relationship with them. You will hardly ever find her with a straight and neutral “therapist” face. Hiteshree decided to pick up entrepreneurship because she feels that some aspects of the Indian mental health scenario aren’t fair to the clients or the therapists. For clients, her goal is to help them find reliable and ethical mental health resources. For therapists, her goal is to assist them in doing the good work of therapy without having to worry about marketing, tech, or fair pay.

Dhruv Thakkar

Co-founder

Dhruv is our experienced entrepreneur. He has a P.G.D.M. in International Trade Management and has worked in the traditional business setup for 5 years. Moon Minds is his first new-age venture which he is building from scratch with Hiteshree. Having studied a year of his high school in Alaska, USA through a student exchange program, Dhruv is our Global citizen. He has also been volunteering with AFS for over 10 years which has given him a culturally diverse understanding of the world. One of the things that has stayed consistent in his experiences is the global nature of mental health issues. He has seen people dealing with their mental health all around the world, most of the time with minimal resources. His goal is to help advance the mental health resources of India and make quality health care more accessible.

Shiree Dudani-Thakkar

Chief Happiness Officer

The in-house Chief Happiness Officer is also a founding member and has an experience of 6 years at being a doggo. She was Hiteshree’s plus-one at her wedding. Her days at Moon Minds are filled with important meetings (mostly involving treat negotiations), tail wags of encouragement during brainstorming sessions, and stress-relieving zoomies. Her mission is simple: to spread joy and boost morale, one belly rub at a time.
